The Center for Disease Control, The World Health Organization, The American Academy of Pediatrics are just a few of the national and international organizations that support exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months of life as the standard for all babies.
IBCLC’s are a key part of the health care team assisting mothers with breastfeeding. IBCLC’s work in hospitals, clinics, pediatric offices and private practices providing excellent care to mothers and babies to help them succeed with breastfeeding.
