Announcing New Mother’s Support Group

I am proud to be part of Midwives Rising Birth Center. I will be hosting a new mother support group on :
Tuesdays 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – New Mothers Support Group
Registration being accepted for the current series beginning July 19. Classes run each Tuesday ending Sept.6.
Join us for this new mothers group in which we will explore the transition to motherhood. New mothers need information and support and validation for our mothering experience. In this group we will talk about your pregnancy, your birth, perceptions of motherhood vs. Reality, the effect motherhood has on your relationships and the struggles of balancing motherhood with finding time to take care of yourself. This group will be facilitated by Lori J. Isenstadt, who has years of experiencing in facilitating mothers groups. Her goal is to provide a safe and comfortable place which mothers can meet and share their thoughts and feelings without concerns about being judged. We will meet each Tuesday for 8 weeks, starting with Tuesday July 19, and ending with Tuesday September 6. The fee is $100 for the series. This group is limited to 12 moms to ensure that we all have plenty of opportunity to share, learn and grow with each other. Babes in arms are, of course, in the room with their moms. Mobile children will need to have childcare. If we have 4 registrants who would like to join us and are willing to pay extra for childcare, we can have a sitter on premise. Registration: Lori J.
